As a Product Manager – Apps & Integrations, you will be part of the Sales & Distribution vertical at ShipBob. Our team’s vision is to provide merchants with an easier to plug-in, scalable, automated, and transparent integration solutions. This will make it easy for them to ingest orders from their webstores onto ShipBob and enables two ways communication with webstore on order status as it goes through fulfillment process at ShipBob’s end. This will also include improving accuracy, reliability and scalability of order ingestion, product sync, inventory sync and tracking sync. You will work with merchants and integration partners to identify gaps in their current experience and fix those by launching relevant features. You will also work closely with our internal stakeholders in Partnerships and Merchant Support teams for roadmap planning, rollout and troubleshooting of issues.  

This role is for someone who loves diving into the technical details while also shaping the overall strategy. Success in this role will rely heavily on both technical prowess and the ability to influence a broad set of stakeholders. Scaling our platforms, unlocking innovation, and delivering efficiencies with our partners are key objectives for this role.

Responsibilities

  • Run the development and rollout of product roadmap for integrations vertical.
  • Collaborate closely with Engineering, Design, Product Marketing, Product Operations, Sales and other cross-functional teams to achieve shared objectives.
  • Help identify key initiatives to accelerate the product and break down initiatives into incremental releases that deliver business value.
  • Guide research efforts to understand market needs and user pain points to inform product strategy and deliver solutions that meet customer needs.
  • Leverage data and insights to influence new product development; define and track key performance metrics that measure success of products.
  • Work with a scrum team of engineers - build a prioritized backlog, run agile ceremonies, and mitigate risks and blockers for the team.
  • Keep stakeholders and customers informed of roadmap, milestones, and risks.
  • Additional duties and responsibilities as necessary.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree.
  • Total experience of 5 to 7 years with at least 3 years of agile product management experience (or related experience).
  • Prior experience of working on ecommerce integration with Shopify, Woocommerce, BigCommerce and others.
  • Established track record of delivering high-quality software products and consistently meeting milestones and business objectives.
  • Exceptional problem-solving skills.

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, tailored for diverse audiences.
  • A systematic and data-oriented mindset.
  • Ability to influence without authority.
  • Comfortable with ambiguity.

  • E-commerce and retail/merchandising experience is a plus.
  • Start-up experience is a plus.
