System Automation Engineer

This position will report to the IT Leader and will be in the Information Technology Department. This role will be expected to be available in the time zone. We are constantly growing both in product and in customers, and you’ll have a leading role getting us there! 

• Maximize IT team efficiency by improving, streamlining, and automating recurring IT tasks
• Automate On/Offboarding - provisioning/deprovisioning access, including data transfers
• Automate group access, such as adding to a distribution group or Slack channel based on job role 
• Automate custom requests such as auto archive unused Slack channels, setup Slack to Jira integration with custom fields and private ticket creation, setup knowledge base to Slack integration for self help articles. 
• Integrate IdP with software using SAML, API, Webhooks, or other integrations based on software type
• Configure software to grant role based access

• Bachelor of Science in Computer Science or a related field or five or more years of work experience as an Automation Engineer, DevOps Engineer, Sr System Engineer or related position
• Certifications such as CCS, CompTIA, or any other relevant technology related certificates 
• Coding languages: Okta expression language & Workflows, Python, Bash and Powershell knowledge preferred
• Proven experience coding, developing, integrating, and configuring information technology systems
• Experience with MDM such as Kandji
• In-depth knowledge of information technology software
• Strong IT background with experience custom scripting for enhanced software use
• A deep understanding and familiarity with:
• Custom API scripts
• Identity Providers such as JumpCloud 
• Software integrations using SAML & SCIM
