Senior Full-Stack Developer

Accrue Savings is a consumer fintech company on a mission to help Americans save. We believe that rewards, points and incentives shouldn’t only come from paying with credit. We help smart brands and retailers incentivize shoppers with cash rewards when they save up for both big and ongoing, smaller purchases. Accrue Savings is backed by a fantastic set of VCs and angels, and has a large number of early retailer customers, led by an experienced founder and operator with a growing team. We’re looking for curious, self-starters, who are determined to drive an idea from inception to market.

As part of the Engineering team, you will help build a product that helps Americans save. We value fast iteration and rapid development, if you have a bias for action when faced with conflicting choices you will succeed at Accrue.

• Collaborate in the design, implementation, and deployment of successful systems and services in support of our product
• Help define our secure, scalable, distributed and event-driven systems
• Work with extraordinary teams delivering demanding projects
• Functionally decompose complex problems into simple, straight-forward solutions
• Understand system interdependencies and limitations
• Share your knowledge of the most effective performance, scalability, architecture, and engineering patterns and methods
• Work closely with other engineers, UX designers, and product managers to develop friendly UI experiences

• Programming experience with Typescript, Node and React
• Experience writing reliable & reusable code with Next.js, Nest.js.
• 6+ years Front end experience, familiar with CSS, HTML
• Well-rounded engineering skills; full-stack development experience - web + services
• Strong analytical abilities and design skills
• Expertise in implementing the best UI/ UX for users.
• Relational database experience.
• Troubleshooting skills.
• Degree in computer science related fields OR equivalent experience in software development
