Based in Toronto and operating across North America, FundThrough’s AI-powered invoice funding platform gives B2B businesses fast, customized funding offers to get their invoices paid in a few days – rather than a few months – and get quick access to cash they’ve already earned.

FundThrough is looking for a diligent and resourceful Cash Application Analyst to join us on our mission to help business owners end the “wait” associated with payment terms.

• Ensure payments are processed in compliance with FundThrough's policies and procedures
• Communicate with clients/customers and gather data to post payments in our system
• Maintain detailed records on clients and their customers
• Proactively evaluate clients needs and challenges, to meet their cash flow needs
• Ensure payments are posted no later than 1 business day
• Retrieve electronic payment data from various bank accounts
• Apply payments accurately and timely to client accounts
• Perform analysis of payment history and account reconciliation
• Reconcile client balances with a strong focus on solving payment discrepancies
• Troubleshoot and find creative solutions when regular system tools aren't working.
• Conduct research for undefined customer accounts and/or over-payments
• Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams including Sales, Risk, Client Success, Product and Engineering

• Passion for our mission of empowering small businesses to thrive
• Minimum of 3 years of experience working in cash applications
• Minimum of a high school degree, ideally a bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in finance and accounting
• Intermediate technical skills, (we use Slack, Gsuite, and Excel)
• You love to Google
• You are able to maintain quality in external and internal customer interactions
• You have excellent professional communication and presentation skills
• You maintain the highest level of integrity and ethics in your work
• English Proficiency- C1 and above
• Fast learner who can adapt easily
• Bonus points: Understanding or experience in the factoring industry, asset based lending, purchase order finance or other alternative funding structures
