As a result, these employees are unengaged and disconnected from their employers, leading to low job satisfaction and low employee retention rates.Enter Jem HR. Jem super-powers a business's HR administration by focusing on digitally connecting the majority of an employer's workforce using the most used messaging app in the world—WhatsApp. By doing this, HR professionals can unlock employee engagement by offering the ignored and underserved deskless workers a suite of services specifically built for them.The roleThe Sales team at Jem has gone through a few iterations of early mobilisation efforts, and we are now clear on what is required to build the foundations for the next 10 years. You will be a core member of the sales team, and will be primarily focussed on finding, managing and closing prospective deals. There is a clearly articulated strategy and sales playbook, but you will need to come in, roll up your sleeves and hunt new deals from day one. You will have to combine process with in-person magic, as you find, manage and close deals through clear value articulation and deep relationship building. You will need to understand our growth strategy clearly, get super close to our customers and be able to work independently.Your role will be focused on increasing revenue through new sales.
Working at an early-stage startup is a different beast. If you are used to predictability, clearly established processes and working with slow moving teams, this is not the role for you. You need to be curious, resourceful, scrappy, and have a deep desire to make sales. You aren’t scared to go see clients in person and get your hands dirty. Specifically, you should be able to demonstrate the following:

As an Account Executive, you will report into the Commercial Director, Chris Hellmann but will also work closely alongside the CEO, and our Leadership team.
80% of the world’s workforce is deskless (they do not work at an office, or behind a desk). Yet only 1% of technology spend is allocated towards this massive employee base. Jem HR is one of only a handful of companies globally tackling this problem and trying to level the playing field. The opportunity is massive.
